Purpose and Objectives
Liberalization of energy market and difficult controlled increase of energy products prices (oil, gas, coal, electricity and heat) oblige inhabitants of all countries to reflect upon the better competitive energy suppliers as well as an optimisation of financial security of energy supply for everyday life. Renewable energy carriers together with energy efficiency can meaningly positive influence situation in energy market.

International Conference "enef 08" has offered incentives and ideas how to eliminate unfavourable energy prices development, using tools as energy efficiency and renewable energy carriers. Speakers had indicated where the sources of renewable energy carriers were available and methods how to use them effectively. They found also energy efficiency increasing both in industrial and public sector as very important tool for sustainable energy development. Conference has fulfilled expectation of participants as well as organizers. Many new knowledge and information have been presented at the conference that can be very motivating for solutions connected with global and local energy issues.
